About US

Founded by Annie Hejripour and Namrata Chopra in 2009, the MBA Finance Association is one of the newest and fastest growing student organizations within the MBA Program. The MBAFA enables students to gain insights into the world of finance through various speaker events, competitions and other initiatives. We seek to round out the MBA experience by hosting informative and experiential events that allow students to explore the many possibilities traditional and industry finance have to offer.

The MBA Finance Association enjoys representing the interests of its expanding and engaging membership. We believe finance is a crucial component of any business education and welcome all students regardless of specialization or career goals to become active members in our organization.

Why Join?

The MBAFA is a finance focused student organization aimed to enhance real world knowledge about the finance industry and acquire industry contacts through speaker sessions, industry meet and greets and info sessions. In addition, MBA students can enhance and tune up the knowledge they have gained over the years with specialized skills gained through finance prep classes, financial modelling and trading courses. Our goal is to help enhance the learning experience of our fellow MBA’s and create market-ready finance professionals.
